Freeware to Geotag your photos

This is a freeware written in Java to Geotag your photos with your GPS locations, and update EXIF of the photos directly. It is useful if you have a GPS device (e.g. your mobile phone with GPS receiver) and want to add the location information to your photos.

You can take photos with your digital camera while your GPS device is logging your locations. When you back to home, you can use this program to link your photos and GPS location. The EXIF of your photos will be updated to include the location information.

This program only accepts GPX file format as GPS waypoint input. However, you can use another freeware, GPSBabel, to convert almost all GPS file formats into GPX format. So, any GPS device should work.

After the mapping between GPS locations and photos, it can display your photos in Google Maps immediately. No need to upload your photos to Google Maps.

Let's try. First, you need to download GPSBabel to convert your GPS file. This program can be downloaded from the "Requirements" page. Then you can click the "Run it now" to start the program without installation.
